Mount Martha

Project Details

As an artistic architectural response to Victorian coastline and contour of the rural landscape. Mount Martha form a dramatic sculptural form nestled into its context. The dwelling is situated on a slope on the site overlooking the coastal stretch of Port Phillip Bay.

Highlights

The main double-height living space dramatically rises towards the glazing and expansive views of the rural terrain and ocean. The glass curtain walls allow natural light to flood into the interior. Adjacent to the main living room is an infinity edge swimming pool for a retreat in water overlooking the bay. The master bedroom ensuite with a freestanding bath also celebrates the rural views. Additionally the property has an onsite tennis court, boat park, and a glass lift.
Mount Eliza Home sits harmoniously in the topography of its site, its sculptural language speaking to the exposed coastal context.
